The Yamaha YHR871DII French Horn is a wind instrument built to help you get a rich, centred sound — supplied as genuine Australian stock with local warranty. Building on the success of the original YHR-871, the new YHR-871II refines one of Yamaha's most respected Geyer-style French horns.

Why You’ll Love It

  • Get a rich, centred sound — developed in close collaboration with leading international players, the YHR-871II delivers a warmer, more expansive tone with enhanced response and control.
  • Play with smooth, reliable action — designed for professional players and advanced students, this next-generation model retains the feel players trust, while offering greater expressive potential across all…
  • Suits your playing level — solid 4th rotor for deeper tone, ideal resistance, and reduced breath noise during F/Bb transitions.
  • Built to last — one-piece machined mouthpiece receiver for improved rigidity, faster response and clearer sound projection.
